The personal history of an author can have a significant influence on the way meaning is constructed in his/her writing. Comment* on specific instances of such influence in Things Fall Apart.

The novel “Things fall apart” by the African writer Achinua Abebe. The novel is mostly about African culture and how western cultures have influenced the Igbo culture. Tells the reader of how British colonization has had affect there. The writer being African has had affect on the theme of the book, as the writer himself stated that the reason for writing the book was to educate the public of African cultures, and show that they were civilized before the British civilization. As an African writer, he shows his entire civilization in a correct way, however if it was an English writer, he would write only on his one point of view on Africa.
