Cannon-Bard Theory
The cannon-bard theory was created by Walter Cannon and Philip Bard in the 1920s. Who disagreed with the James-Lange theory which states that after experiencing a certain situation the brain first reacts to the situation and then emotional feelings occur, however the Cannon-Bard theory states that both (arousal and emotion) occur the same time after the event. For example, you just went to sleep and while laying in the bed you feel something crawling on your arms. so you decide to open your eyes and find out it was a spider (tarantula). this is when you run away as far as you can from the spider while feeling fear the second you saw the spider. But, in the James-Lange theory states that you will run away and then feel fear.
