What was the paradigm that was challenged by this observation? Based on Einstein’s theory that nothing can be faster than the speed of light and which is theoretically proven to be true. What startled them is the observation of appearing particles sent from France to Italy 730km away, where particles that were sent “appeared” to be faster than light.
